Things I’d Like To Do In the New Year

Untitled Design

I’m not very good at New Year’s Resolutions. I never keep them, and I make myself sick when I realize I can’t keep them. It’s stupid, I know, but that’s how my brain works. So this year, I have decided to make a list of things I want to do. Something laidback, that doesn’t involve changing or bettering myself. Things that I know I can accomplish:

  1. FINALLY publish my book
  2. See more than one Broadway show
  3. Travel somewhere I’ve never been, or that I can’t remember being
  4. Put a serious dent in my TBR list (it’s too long to finish, let’s be real)
  5. Make a new friend
  6. Try some new restaurants
  7. Write something that reminds me why I love writing
  8. Stop putting pressure on myself and bending backwards for people
  9. Sing in the car more
  10. Treat myself at least once

  1. To see more Broadway shows for cheap, look up and join Play-by-Play. It is a seat filling service that sometimes offers seats for as little as $4.50 (yes and annual $99 fee, but that is justified pretty quickly). Also good to see off-Broadway, concert and sporting events.

      1. Check it out online. I am happy to answer any questions. I am a big fan of anythings that costs me less than five bucks in the Big Apple. Try it for a year and see if it works for you. Take advantage of seeing shows or concerts for cheap!
